How do I ship the milk?
Once you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email with packaging and shipping instructions! Along with the address of where to send your milk package.
If you do not see the email, please check your spam and junk mail. If you still do not see the email please email me at info@Secondlifekeepsakes.com and I will resend it.
Breastmilk needs to be double bagged. Place your milk in a breastmilk storage bag to protect against leaks and place the bag into a second ziploc bag to catch any milk if there is a leak. Write your first and last name and order # on the outside zip lock bag. You are responsible for the shipping cost of your inclusions. I recommend a bubble mailer or USPS small flat rate box.

How much milk is needed?
1 ounce
Can I use old, frozen or spoiled milk?
You can send fresh, expired, frozen breastmilk. Milk must be fully THAWED before and during shipping. If I receive milk that appears with mold, you will be notified via email as moldy mail cannot be preserved.
When will I receive my finished piece?
6-8 weeks
How do I know my breastmilk/inclusion is in the jewelry?
This small business is built on integrity and treat it as it were my own special piece of jewelry. Each order is preserved one at a time, labeled and filed until boxed and mailed.

Ashes Shipping Instructions:
You will send 1 teaspoon of ashes. I will send back remaining ashes with your finished keepsake.
Please double bag and write your first and last name and order # on the OUTSIDE zip lock bag. Place ziplock bag into a padded envelope or bubble mailer. It will cost around $5. Your full name and return address MUST be on the package.

What inclusions do you work with?

Placenta (1 capsule)
Cremated Ashes (1 teaspoon) additional will be sent back
Umbilical Cord (1/2 the stump crushed)
Hair (about 20 strands, 1 inch long) folded on sheet of paper or paper towel. NO TAPE!!!
Soil (1/2 teaspoon MUST be dried)
Flowers (1-2 petals, MUST be dried) folded in sheet or paper or paper towel
Sand (1/2 teaspoon)
Fabric (1 inch piece)

How do I care for my jewelry?
Never resize your keepsake rings. Always remove keepsakes before getting wet.
Do you accept refunds?
Due to the nature of these products being custom and handmade, returns are NOT accepted. Colors of the milk may vary and small bubbles may appear. By purchasing you agree to a unique custom keepsake. You have 24 hours from the time of purchase to cancel or edit your order. If there is ever an issue with your order due to my error or quality, please contact me and I will happily assist until the issue is resolved!
